Green motoring has become a topic with increasingly growing awareness in the United Kingdom (UK). Even in 2015 a large percentage of all the CO2 emissions are being contributed through vehicle emissions. More and more car owners are becoming aware that they can play a part in helping to reduce the amount of pollution produced and emitted into the atmosphere by seeking out vehicles that have zero or very low emissions. The trend toward consumers choosing electric or hybrid cars over the traditional fully fuel powered engines has influenced the types of vehicles manufacturers are producing. As interest in green cars has increased, the demand on manufacturers to offer more options has resulted in several manufacturers putting a variety of different green cars on the market. This means that running a fully electric car with zero emissions is truly a realistic option, as are plug-in hybrids, low emission hybrids (petrol or diesel). The following vehicles are some of the most environmentally friendly examples on the market. So, what are you waiting for? If you’re thinking “it’s time to sell my car ”, what better reason to upgrade to help save the environment:
